Delaware Man Arrested On Drug Charges

MAGNOLIA, Del. - A Magnolia Man is behind bars after a two month drug investigation in Delaware. Thursday morning, police arrested the man pictured to your right, 37-year-old Jerome Smith, after conducting a search warrant in the unit block of McKinley Circle near Magnolia.

Police uncovered more than 2,000 grams of marijuana, 21 Oxycodone pills, 17 Ecstasy pills,  drug paraphernalia, more than $3,100.00 in suspected drug proceeds, and a fully loaded 9mm handgun. Smith's 3-year-old daughter was also inside the residence and was turned over to relatives.

He faces the following charges:

· Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
· Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
· Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited, 3 counts
· Possession with Intent to Deliver Ecstasy
· Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana
· Possession of a Controlled Substance, Ecstasy
· Possession of a Prescription Drug without a Prescription
· Endangering the Welfare of a Child
· Possession of Drug Paraphernalia


He was arraigned at JP2 and committed to JTVCC in default of $116,300.00 cash bond.
