SEAFORD, Del. - More than 100 jobs will be coming to Seaford, Delaware. Tuesday, ILC Dover held a ribbon cutting at their new facility, where workers will manufacture contamination control products. The production lines and the equipment to operate them are in the process of being moved from Juarez, Mexico, to Delaware, so a majority of the jobs will be available later this year.
WMDT spoke with Governor Jack Markell who acknowledged this big step for his state. "I think every governor recognizes we can't wait for news out of Washington D.C. We've got to focus on what matters most: the great workforce, reasonable cost of doing business, great schools, responsive government. Those are the things that matter. That's exactly what we're working on here," says Markell, (D) DE.
