UPDATE: Snow Hill Field Fire, No Longer Burning

SNOW HILL, Md. - Crews have left the scene of a field fire near Snow Hill. The Snow Hill Fire Department was called out just before 1:30 PM this afternoon.

They say the reporting party said his bush hog on the back of his tractor caught on fire, which reportedly started the cut corn field to burn. The fire is out now, and crews left scene at 2:50 PM.

When WMDT spoke with officials earlier on Tuesday, they said there was no threat to any homes. Route 113 was shut down for a period of time due to smoke, but has since reopened.
