Hearing Held On Old Mall Rubble Pile

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - At a hearing Monday, a panel decided the twenty foot tall pile of crushed concrete from Salisbury's the old mall can stay.

The owners of the site are requested to meet with neighbors and police in the area to come to ease some of the community's concerns.

According to testimony, the pile has been obstructing the view of business signs, poses possible safety concerns, as people have been seen climbing and driving up the mound, and it has apparently become a place for the homeless to camp.
