OC Fire Department Battles Sunday Afternoon Blaze

OCEAN CITY, Md. - Ocean City Communications say they received a call for a house fire in the area of 94th Street on the bayside.

According to reports, on September 15th at approximately 2:25 PM, the Ocean City Fire Department personnel responded to the home, which was a three unit townhouse, and found fire coming from the building upon their arrival. At this time, the Ocean City Fire Department is on scene attempting to extinguish the fire, along with members of the Ocean City Fire Department, crews from the Ocean Pines Fire Department, units from Sussex County Delaware, Ocean City Fire Boat 1 and the Ocean City Police Department are also on scene. Officials say the fire is currently under control.  No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Ocean City Fire Marshal's Office.
