Easton Police Say A Traffic Stop Leads To Weapons Arrest

EASTON, Md. - Easton Police say a traffic stop led to weapons and drug arrests.

According to reports, police stopped a vehicle traveling eastbound on Route 50 and Lomax street for exceeding the posted speed limit. After stopping the vehicle, officers say they conducted a probable search of the car and located a set of brass knuckles, a hand rolled cigar containing marijuana, alcohol, and tobacco products. Both occupants were reportedly juveniles and were placed under arrest. one of the juveniles was reportedly referred to the Department of Juvenile Justice for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Alcohol Under 21, Possession of Tobacco, and Concealed Weapon. The other juvenile was allegedly referred to the Department of Juvenile Justice for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Alcohol Under 21, and Possession of Tobacco. Police say both individuals were released to their parents.
