Police Say Two People Injured After Crash In Caroline Co.

CAROLINE CO., Md. - Maryland State Police say they responded to a three-car crash at around 1:36 PM on September 14th.

According to reports, in the area of Greensboro Road, north of Sandy Point Road, in Caroline County, a 2001 Dodge Durango, operated by Robert Oakes, 50, of Frankford, was traveling northbound on Greensboro Road. A 2002 Toyota Tacoma, operated by Solomon Michael, 74, of Greensboro, was reportedly traveling southbound on Greensboro Rd. Oakes allegedly crossed the center line and went into the southbound lane, hitting Michael head-on, forcing him from his lane into a 2003 Venture, operated by Cleora Wheedleton, 48, of Greensboro. Wheedleton was reportedly not injured, but both Oakes and Michael were transported for injuries that are unknown at this time.
