DOVER, Del. - Dover Police say they are investigating a home invasion that occurred at the Dover Country Club Apartments, on Fairway Lakes Drive, on Friday, September 13th.

According to reports, at around 5:30 PM, a black female suspect contacted a 91-year-old female victim in the hallway of her apartment building as she was opening her door, and forced her into her apartment. Once inside the female suspect reportedly armed herself with a kitchen knife and demanded money. Police say the victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled eastbound on foot, and the victim was not injured.

Reports describe the female suspect as a black female, between 20 and 30-years-old, about 5' 10" tall, thin build, wearing blue jeans with a pattern on the front and a bright colored red-orange bandana over her head.

Police say investigation into the incident is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
