WORCESTER CO., Md. - The Worcester County Health Department has received an increase in calls for bats in homes over the past few weeks.
If you happen to find a bat inside use thick gloves to handle it or call a specialist. Also, if it's found in a room with a child or pet and you can't tell if there's been any contact, you should have it tested for rabies.
