UPDATE: DSP Seeking Two Suspects After High-Speed Chase

Posted: Updated:

MILFORD, Del. - Delaware State Police say two people fled to scene of an accident after a high speed chase.

Police say around 4:00 AM Wednesday morning troopers responded to an alarm activation in the Coach Outlet in Rehoboth Beach. Reports say Police saw a Black Mercedes Benz SUV leaving the shopping plaza and attempted to pull it over before it reportedly took off on Coastal Highway, speeding away.

Investigators say as the SUV approached a right curve, near where Route 1 merges onto Route 113, when a Ford Taurus was allegedly struck from behind causing both vehicles to spin out of control. The suspects' vehicle ended up in the median and police say the two people inside took off Westbound after crossing the Southbound lanes of Route 1.

Officials say the other driver, identified as 41-year-old Patrick Organ of Milford, was transported to Milford Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Troopers recovered 85 Coach Purses, pictured to the right, valued at more than $29,000.00.

We now have a description of the suspects. Troopers say they are two black males, the first last-seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and grey sweat pants, the second wearing a brown or grey hooded sweatshirt with black pants. At this time they have no surveillance images.

Anyone with any information on the two suspects or this incident is asked to call 911 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. Tips can also be submitted at tipsubmit.com.
