Posted: Updated:

MILFORD, Del. - Troopers are investigating a motor vehicle accident that left one man dead. According to the report, just before 10:30 Sunday night, Jeffrey White, of Georgetown, was speeding southbound on South DuPont Highway on his motorcycle.

When traffic began to slow down, authorities say White began driving aggressively, passing around other vehicles before striking an SUV. White, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. The collision caused the SUV to fall onto its side in the median. The driver, Brian Williams of Laurel, was wearing a seat belt and was uninjured.

Troopers are now looking into whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash. They are asking  witnesses to come forward with any information they may have regarding this incident. If you know anything, call 302-644-5020.
