OCEAN CITY, Md. - Ocean City Police say Ocean City Beach Patrol saved a Myersville man's life after a surfing-related accident.

Police say a 56-year-old male, who's name has still not been released, hit his head in a surf accident and was removed from the water by Ocean City Beach Patrol. Shortly after, he reportedly went into cardiac arrest, but beach patrol did CPR and brought the man back to life. The man was allegedly taken to Atlantic General Hospital and was transferred to Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Police say there is still no word on his current condition, but they are reminding people to only swim when lifeguards are on duty.
