ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) - Police in Montgomery County are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident.

Police say they were called to the 9500 block of Hawkins Creamery Road around 11:30 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived, they found 53-year-old Kenneth Alan Burch of Clarksburg dead at the scene. Police say a preliminary investigation indicates Burch failed to negotiate a curve and struck a utility pole.

The collision is under investigation.
