Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - And today -- Doctor Seifert met with members of the Salisbury University community to discuss a new program -- that hopes to catch violent tendencies in children before it becomes a serious problem.

With a $250,000 grant from the Maryland Industrial Partnerships program, Marvin Tossey, a social work professor at SU, will work with Doctor Seifert to establish the validity of the "CARE-2 LLC" instrument, developed to identify youths who are at risk for violence, and determines specific interventions needed to prevent any future risk of aggressive behavior.
