GEORGETOWN, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say drugs may have contributed to a head-on crash that injured four people on Seashore Highway west of Georgetown.
Police sat a Mercury Mystique traveling eastbound Wednesday afternoon when it crossed the center line and hit a Pontiac G6 head-on.
Police say the passenger in the Mercury, 21-year-old Deanna Storms of Dagsboro, was flown to Christiana Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver, 21-year-old Timothy Daniels of Lincoln, was treated and released and police say he is being held pending criminal charges. Police say drugs may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
The driver and passenger in the Pontiac were taken to Beebe Medical Center with injuries that police say are not life-threatening.
