SALISBURY, Md. - Police have released new details after Tuesday evening's triple shooting in Salisbury.

According to the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office they, along with officers from Salisbury and Maryland State Police arrived at 139 Onley Road, just before 6:30 PM, after receiving 911 calls about shots fired in the area.

Once on scene, officers say they found three people with apparent gunshot wounds. An investigation reportedly revealed that the suspect, Ryan Shallue, 21, of Stevensville, was a former boyfriend of one of the victims, Kristen  Loetz, 20, also of Stevensville, who is a Salisbury University student.

Police say Shallue had driven from Queen Anne's County to Salisbury on Tuesday evening, and once at the house, got into an argument with Loetz. Then 19-year-old Charles Abbott, of Hebron, reportedly tried to intervene, when Police say Shallue pulled out a semi-automatic handgun, and opened fire on the victims.

Both victims were taken to PRMC where Abbott was pronounced dead on arrival, while Loetz was flown to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Unit for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds. Police say at this time her condition remains critical, but stable. The suspect, Shallue, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation into this incident is still on-going. Authorities are holding a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, we'll bring you the latest information as it becomes available.
