UPDATE: 2 Dead, 1 Injured In Shooting On Onley Road In Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. - Police have confirmed that 2 are dead and 1 is in serious condition as a result of the confirmed shooting on Onley Road in Salisbury.

Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis confirms that police responded shortly after 6 p.m. on Tuesday to reports of shots fired at 139 Onley Road. When they arrived, they found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One male victim had reportedly shot the other male and a female victim, before shooting and killing himself.

The male shooter was pronounced dead at the scene. The other male victim was taken to PRMC, and later pronounced dead there. WMDT confirmed the names of the two victims with Wicomico County sheriff Mike Lewis. They are Charles Abbott of Hebron, Md. and Kristen Loetz of Stevensville, Md.

The female victim, who has been confirmed as a current Salisbury University student, was taken to PRMC for treatment, and subsequently flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore for further treatment.

Officials say the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute, but are still investigating the details of what happened, and would not comment on the relationship among the individuals. 
Authorities say one weapon was involved, a semi-automatic handgun. Multiple shots were fired. All victims are described as "young adults."

According to Sheriff Lewis, Salisbury Police and Detectives were the first on the scene, and were later joined by the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, and Maryland State Police. The Sheriff's Office and the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation will lead the investigation moving forward, and are classifying it as a "homicide-suicide."
