Route 54 In Selbyville Daytime Road Closures To Start Monday

SELBYVILLE, Del. - The instillation of a crossroad pipe in Selbyville will require lane closures of a busy roadway.

The Delaware Department of Transportation says starting Monday, September 9th crews will be installing a crossroad pipe, and will close lanes of Route 54/Road 58 Lighthouse Road, at Sand Cove Road. The work is expected to run through Wednesday, August 11th around 3 PM. If it rains, work could continue until Friday.

Traffic will be detoured as follows:

Westbound:  RT 54/Rd 58 (Lighthouse Rd) to Zion Church Road (Road 382) to Johnson Store Road (Road 382A) to Dickerson Road (Road 389) to Johnson Road (Road 390) to RT 54/Road58 (Lighthouse Rd).

Eastbound:  RT 54/Road58 (Lighthouse Rd) to Johnson Road (Road 390) to Dickerson Road (Road 389) to Johnson Store Road (Road 382A) to Zion Church Road (Road 382) to RT 54/Rd 58 (Lighthouse Rd).

Local residences will still be accessible during these closures.
