Hebron Man Charged With Rape In Salisbury


SALISBURY, Md. - Police have arrested a Hebron man in connection with a sexual assault.

Salisbury Police say on Thursday, around 2:40 AM, they met with a woman, on Winterborn Lane, who told them that she had just been sexually assaulted and held against her will by a man, who she was familiar with. Police say they did find the man, but he fled from them after a brief struggle.

An investigation showed that the suspect was 22-year-old Devin Perry. On Friday, members of the Maryland State Apprehension Team arrested Perry, while he was walking on Winterborn Lane.

Perry is charged with 1st and 2nd degree rape, 1st and 2nd degree sex offense, 1st, 3rd, and 4th degree burglary, 2 counts of 2nd degree assault, reckless endangerment, false imprisonment, violation of ex-parte, and obstructing and hindering. He was released to the custody of Central Booking.
