MILLSBORO, Del. - Two agriculture giants are coming together for a new seed sale business.
Perdue Agribusiness and DuPont Pioneers are building an 8,400 square foot seed sales and crop advisory facility in Millsboro, Delaware, on the site of Perdue's grain facility.
Julie DeYoung, a representative from Perdue tells WMDT "Perdue Agribusiness has a strong history of buying grains locally and our philosophy is basically to buy whatever farmers want to grow, guaranteeing them a good local market for their crops."
The location will bring six new jobs to the region, and is expected to open early 2014.
