Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - More money may soon be on its way to Salisbury to help give the downtown a face-lift.

The city has officially submitted an application to the state for a $150,000 grant as apart of the Community Legacy Program.

According to council president Jake Day, this will be used to fix up the facades of at least five downtown businesses, with a maximum of $30,000 per application. Right now, the city says there is no plan in place for businesses to apply with any matching funds.
