UPDATE: Dorchester Co. Barn Fire Ruled Accidental

DORCHESTER CO., Md. - The Maryland State Fire Marshall has ruled a Monday night barn fire in Dorchester County, as accidental.

According to reports, the blaze broke out around 9:35 PM, in the interior of the wood framed barn, on the 6200 block of Eldorado Road, in Eldorado - Brookview. The 2 alarm fire took 55 firefighters, from three departments, about an hour to control.

No injuries were reported. Officials say the blaze was accidental, and has been ruled as an electrical fire. Total damages are estimated at $85,000.

Authorities say, as a result of the fire, an adjacent vacant chicken house, roughly 35' by 100', was destroyed.
