Salisbury Welcomes New Public Works Director

SALISBURY, Md. - Monday, Salisbury Mayor Jim Ireton announced Mike Moulds as the city's new Director of Public Works.

Moulds has been working as an Engineer since the 1980s, when he graduated from Pennsylvania State University with his Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology.  He is a registered Professional Engineer in Maryland and Pennsylvania.  Mike Moulds worked as a municipal engineering consultant for over 32 years and has experience with variety of public works engineering including water and wastewater treatment plant design. 

Since 2006, he has been working in Dorchester County as a Deputy Director of Public Works and County Engineer. Moulds also currently is the Vice President of the County Engineer's Association of Maryland. 

Some of the top issues Moulds plans to tackle are upgrading the waste water treatment plant, pump stations, and working to revitalize Salisbury's Downtown.
