Red Light District Store In Salisbury Puts Up Permanent Sign

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - The Red Light District Store on North Salisbury Boulevard put up a permanent sign today, despite the city's $500 fine.

Mayor Jim Ireton says the city will fine the store $500 for each day that the sign stays up, and they still have not gotten permission for it to be there. The mayor says the business must prove they are not an adult retails store, which means they must show that less than 20 percent of their gross revenue, inventory, and floor plan is sexually-related adult material.
