Houston Woman Accused Of Selling Crack Cocaine

HARRINGTON, Del. - An undercover drug investigation has wrapped up with an arrest. Harrington and Felton Police say two undercover officers contacted 50-year-old Betty Benson, of Houston, about buying crack cocaine, and she agreed to sell to them. They made a plan to meet at a location, where according to the report she later sold the officers .5 grams of crack cocaine.

After the transaction, officers say they arrested Benson, and charged her with manufactures, delivers or possesses with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Benson was also apparently wanted out of Kent County. She is being held at Sussex County Correction Institute on $6,045 cash bond.
