WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington police are investigating a weekend shooting that left four people, including two teenage girls, wounded.
Officers were called to 2nd Street near North Franklin Street around 10 p.m. Sunday. They found one person shot in the street and three more in a nearby home.
Cpl. Jamaine Crawford said a 16-year-old girl, a 17-year-old girl, a 20-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were shot. Crawford said Monday that all victims were in stable condition.
Authorities said officers called to the area earlier had arrested two people on disorderly conduct charges. After the report of the shootings, Crawford said people crowded around the scene and officers made another arrest.
Police have not released any details on suspects, but Crawford said investigators do not believe it was a drive-by shooting.
