9 And 10 Delmar All-Stars Kick Off Playoffs With Big Win

DELMAR, MD - The Delmar Little League Nine and Ten All-Stars started off the Eastern Region Little League Playoffs strong, beating a New Jersey team 15 to 0 in Cranston, Rhode Island on Sunday.

The team scored eight runs in the first three innings, and were able to put away the game early. A steal of home by Luke Waters during the first inning and a passed ball, a two-run triple by Waters, a steal of home by Waters, and a steal of home by Gabe Rincon in the second inning, supplied the early offense for the All-Stars. Waters also racked up five RBI's and four hits. On Tuesday, the All-Stars will take on the Middletown Odessa Townsend Little League from Delaware on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.
