Berlin All Stars Start Off Little League World Series Strong

BERLIN, Md. - The Berlin Little League All Stars beat the East Greenwhich New Jersey team five to four on Friday, in the opening game of the East Region of the Little League World Series.

Tristan "T-Rex" McDonough led the way with his bat and in relief on the mound. The Berlin Little League never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring two runs on a sacrifice fly by Matt Kinsey and an RBI single by McDonough. The All Stars were reportedly in control for most of the game. The next game is against their neighbor state, Newark, Delaware, on Saturday August 3rd at 8:00 PM.
