Dover Man Charged After Allegedly Firing Shot During Argument

DOVER, Del. - A report of a shot fired during a domestic incident, lands one man in handcuffs. Dover Police say on Wednesday, around 1:15 AM, they responded to a home at N. Governors Avenue, in reference to a domestic incident between three people.

According to the report, 22-year-old Carson Leone fired a single round from a AR-15 rifle that hit the floor, near where his sister and a friend were sitting, after they had all apparently been arguing. Police say they seized three firearms from the home, and it was discovered that Leone was prohibited from possessing them.

Leone was arrested, charged with 2 counts of 1st degree reckless endangering, 3 counts of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and released after posting bond.
