SALISBURY, Md. - A new health facility will soon be coming to the Salisbury Zoo!

Thursday, Salisbury City Council members voted to move un-used money from the Waverly Drive Storm Sewer project to help fund a $2.3 million dollar bid to construct the "Animal Health Clinic".

The facility will allow specialists to better care for the animals at the zoo.

Council President Jake Day says "any time you bring new expertise to the town, and anytime you bring in new professionals, I think you enhance our ability to grow as a community, and our economy."

Construction on the Animal Health Clinic is expected to be complete by next April.
