Braving The Rides At The Delaware State Fair

Posted: Updated:

HARRINGTON, Del. - WMDT's Kody Leibowitz has been all up and down the Delaware State Fair almost every day so far, but on Friday, he tried out the rides.

The wheels are off the tracks, and a fair experience would not be complete if it weren't for a ride on the wild side.

Kody Leibowitz, says "to be honest I am not the biggest fan of fair rides. When I was a kid I would actually get sick of all the spins and all the circles loops. That just gives me the chills just thinking of that turn. Now just to help me I called over my friends Josh and Heather Finamore to shake up my spirits a little bit and help me get over the fear of the rides."

First up, Extreme. The ride that lifts and turns you two hundred twenty degree in the air, but walking up, I turned my back right away. While Josh and Heather went for a spin. I decided to go on something more my speed.

Leibowitz eating cotton candy, "that's delicious. Hey uhh can you slow this down a little bit?"

After spinning around the merry go round a few more times, we all decided to go on once last ride. The ferris wheel, a good end to the day, but I sat alone, a third wheel in our friendship.

"Josh, Heather, hello!?" says Leibowitz.

Kody looked a little sick up there. We'll try not to give him too hard of a time back here at the station.
