Three Men Wanted In Connection With Selbyville Home Invasion

Posted: Updated:

SELBYVILLE, Del. - Police are looking for three men, after a reported early morning home invasion in Selbyville. Delaware State Police say around 12:50 AM on Wednesday, three armed men went into a Rooster Road home, and demanded money from the two people inside.

According to the report, the 30-year-old victim and one of the suspects fought, before a second suspect hit the victim in the head with a slap stapler. The victim was apparently able to escape the altercation, and go to a neighbors house to call 911. Police say the 22-year-old female victim tried to break up the fight, and was also hit in the head with the stapler. The three suspects apparently fled the home, with the woman's purse.

Both victims were treated at Beebe Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. Troopers say that this incident was not a random act, and the victim's may have been targeted.

The three suspects are described as black males, one with large build, two with average build. Suspect one was apparently last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, with a mask covering his face, and armed with a handgun. Suspect two was reportedly last seen wearing a hoodie and a mask, armed with a black slap stapler. Suspect three was apparently last seen wearing a tan shirt, camouflage shorts, and a Panama Jack type hat with a chin strap, armed with a dark colored wooden object.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Troop 4 at 302-856-5850 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. Tips can also be submitted to the DSP Mobile Crime App, texting DSP to CRIMES (274637), or by visiting the TipSubmit website.
