MILFORD, Del. - A Milford man was charged after allegedly using his vehicle to apparently intentionally hit a person.

Milford Police say on July 15th, in the intersection of N. Washington and NE Front Streets, 40-year-old Michael Carlisle rammed the vehicle of a 27-year-old man at a red traffic light. According to the report, Carlisle then pushed to victim's vehicle into the intersection, at which point the victim was able to get out, and confront Carlisle. Police say Carlisle then pulled around the victim's vehicle, and drove at the victim, who was able to get out of the way, but Carlisle opened the driver's side door, and hit him with that, before fleeing.

At the time of the incident, Carlisle reportedly had two small children in the car. He turned himself into Police, after apparently discovering that he was identified, and that there was a warrant out for his arrest.

He was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, vehicular assault, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, criminal mischief under $1,000, and failure to report an accident. He was later released on bond.
