New Fundraiser For Bekah Flemming - 47 ABC - Delmarva's Choice

New Fundraiser For Bekah Flemming

Posted: Updated:

HARRINGTON, Del. - WMDT is at the Delaware State Fair all week, and one of our friends stopped by to say hello.

Sunday, we caught up with Bekah Fleming, a young woman suffering from Spina Bifida.  The community has rallied behind Bekah and her family, and she told us about a fundraiser coming up to help raise money for house upgrades that would accommodate her needs.

"It's a Red Roots concert, it's at Allen Memorial in Salisbury.  They're from Mississippi, and they'll be coming to help us raise money, and they've actually asked me to sing with them," says Flemming.

The Red Roots fundraising concert will take place at Allen Memorial on September 5th, starting at 7 PM.

Tickets are $15, on sale at the Mustard Seed in Delmar and Hebron Savings Bank in Fruitland.
