GEORGETOWN, Del. - Nearly 200 cats and dogs in Sussex County  could be without a home soon.
Sunday, on Facebook, Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary in Georgetown announced it will be shutting its doors August 30th.

WMDT spoke to a volunteer at Safe Haven, who says the shelter will stay open until all 100 cats and 170 dogs have either permanent homes, or are placed with another no kill shelter.

If you can help by adopting, transporting, or volunteering at the Sanctuary, you're asked to email info@safehavende.org.
