WILLARDS, Md. - A traffic stop in Willards, leads to drug and weapons charges for a Virginia man. Maryland State Police say a Trooper stopped a Dodge SUV on Sunday, around 11:30 AM, on Route 50 at Woodyard Road, for speeding.
During the stop the Trooper reportedly noticed the driver, 27-year-old Larry Davis, had a loaded handgun. Davis was arrested, and the Trooper searched the SUV, where they reportedly found several items of CDS and CDS paraphernalia.
Police say the State of Maryland has prohibited Davis from carrying a firearm. He was charged with possession of handgun in vehicle, possession of regulated firearm by prohibited person, possession of CDS, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
