HARRINGTON, Del. - For those of you social media addicts out there, always on Twitter or Facebook, the Delaware State Fair  is making it pretty easy to stay connected and maybe even win some free prizes. WMDT'S Jarred Hill reports how the Delaware state fair is hopping on the digital bandwagon.

Danny Aguilar, of the Delaware State Fair, says "we really wanted to focus on being engaged and make sure our guests coming to the fair have the opportunity to receive information from the Delaware State Fair."

"We were here for a concert on Thursday night and we were wondering who was going to be playing tonight so then I just pulled up on my phone and looked" says Debbie Hurst, of Middletown, DE.

Staci Bank, of Georgetown, DE says "it makes it a lot easier when you come and you're not sure what to do."

But this year, the fair is doing more than just telling you what's going on.

"With twitter this year, one of our goals is to do some fun games, some scavenger hunts, give away some concert tickets" says Aguilar.

Banks says "I think I would actually because I'm here all day. It would be easy. Give you something to do."

It's actually pretty easy, just check the Delaware State Fair's Facebook or Twitter throughout the day for clues. Which could be anything from taking a picture with one of the animals, to tracking down one the of WMDT crew!

"We're able to tie in special locations on the grounds" says Aguilar.

"Didn't know that" says Hurst.

This will be going on throughout the week, and Jarred might even be involved! So be sure to follow him and WMDT on Facebook and Twitter as well.
