Harrington Police Search For Suspect In Armed Robbery

HARRINGTON, Del. - The Harrington Police Department says they are currently searching for an unknown black male who was involved in an armed robbery at the Dollar General located in the Midway Shopping Center in Harrington. 

According to reports, at 3:00 PM Saturday, the suspect entered the store and displayed a black handgun, demanding cash and cell phones from the patrons that were in the store. The suspect then reportedly fled towards South DuPont Highway. He is described as a black male in his late teens or early twenties, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and between 170 and 180 pounds. Police say the suspect has black hair and was last seen wearing a white hat, white sunglasses, dark color shirt with paint on it, tan pants and sneakers.
