BERLIN, Md. - A Berlin man has been arrested after a high speed police chase Friday, leaving officers with minor injuries.

Officials say Stephon Bowen of Berlin was stopped on Worcester Highway, after allegedly driving a car stolen from Barrett Chevrolet.

He reportedly tried to ram the car into a police vehicle, and was chased to the area of Carey road, where his car drove off the road.

He drove the car off the road and was later chased through the woods, and officers reportedly had to use a taser before arresting him.

Bowen is charged with vehicle theft, assault on police, and drug possession, among other charges.
