Big Game Challenge At The DE State Fair

Posted: Updated:

HARRINGTON, Del. - Friday, at the Delaware State Fair, our very own Kody Leibowitz tested his skills at some of the games, in a friendly competition with his photographer and some adorable fairgoers.

The challenge all started with, a friendly game of bingo. Kody Leibowitz says "you're not going to get close to me I'm making 5 in a row off the bat. Josh Finamore replies "I doubt it." Leibowitz "what do you mean you doubt it?" Finamore "I mean you're going down definitely."

I brushed off his trash talk and started throwing, looking for 5 in a row.

"Everybody throw in ball"

Then I made the winning shot, a record number of throws to get 5 in a row. A feat no others shall ever match.

Leibowitz says "after round 1 it sits, 1 nothing me. Josh, you ready to go down again?" Finamore "I'm ready to beat you.." Leibowitz "alright we'll see."

And, after finishing off Josh at another game, I decided to up my level of competition, by challenging this little girl, 6-year-old Erin. Her confidence wasn't lacking either.

Leibowitz "Do you think you can beat me?" Erin "no." Leibowitz "what do you mean no, you don't think you can beat me?" Erin "noooo!"

There's no way she can beat me now. I knew I had this in the bag.

"And they're off!"

I took a commanding lead from the very beginning, but then, the water just wouldn't hit the target.

"who's it going to be guys?" "Erin won!" "Winner." "Yay!!!" "Oh no!"

I was in disbelief! But still congratulated Erin and her win with a high five, just barely missing out on the top prize.

Well what a shocking defeat, better luck next time, Kody. Erin on the other hand, won herself a brand new stuffed raccoon which she named Pinky. The games open daily at 1:00 PM.
