DOVER, Del. - The suspect in a Dover drive by shooting, is now behind bars. Delaware State Police say their Special Operations Response Unit, arrested 22-year-old Dazzel King, of Frederica on Thursday, at a Cubbage Road home, in Lincoln.

He was charged with 1st degree attempted murder, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited, four counts of 1st degree reckless endanger, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of criminal mischief. King is being held at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $196,000 bond.

The charges stem from an incident on Monday, where Police say King drove by a parked car on Presidents Drive, in the Capitol Park neighborhood, and shot a 28-year-old man who was sitting inside.

The victim was treated for a gunshot wound to his upper extremities. Shots also went into the house that the car was parked in front of, where two adults, and two children were inside, none of whom were injured.
