Another Man Arrested In Relation To Shooting In Salisbury

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury Police have released new information on Tuesday's shooting in Salisbury. Police say a second man has been arrested for the incident.

You'll recall, on Tuesday afternoon officers responded to the area of Catherine St. and W. Main St. after reports of shots fired.  An investigation revealed that an unknown black male fired a handgun in the area and fled on foot.  Officers in the area noticed a black vehicle leaving the scene. The vehicle description was broadcast to other officers who conducted a traffic stop in the area of Camden Ave. and Wicomico St.

During the traffic stop the officers reportedly located a handgun and ammunition from inside the car. 27-year-old Willis Ginn of Delmar, 22-year-old Tiras Dupont of Salisbury, 22-year-old Jermaine Dupone of Salisbury, and a 17-year-old were arrested and booked on multiple charges.
Authorities say they have now arrested another man in relation to this incident.

During the investigation, detectives reportedly determined another person had also fired a handgun in the area. Police say a subject, later identified as 18-year-old Percy Milbourne, fired three rounds from a handgun in the direction of a vehicle occupied by the victim.

Detectives say they executed a search and seizure warrant at Milbourne's house and located a handgun and ammunition.

No one was injured during either of these incidents.

Police say an investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Salisbury Police at (410) 548-3165 or Crime Solvers at (410) 548-1776.
