Man Air Lifted After Morning Motorcycle Crash In Rehoboth

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - A motorcycle crash is under investigation in Rehoboth Beach. Delaware State Police say just after 1:30 AM, on Wednesday morning, 28-year-old Dennis Carley, of New York, was riding his motorcycle on Rehoboth Avenue Extended, just South of Ames Drive.

According to the report, Carley hit a curb, while turning, causing him to be ejected from the bike. Police say he was not wearing a helmet, and had to be air lifted from the scene, to Christiana Medical Center. Carley is currently listed in critical condition.

Rehoboth Avenue Extended between Ames Drive and Hebron Road was closed for three hours while the scene was cleared. Delaware State Police say they continue to investigate this crash.
