4 In Custody After Investigation Into Reports Of Shots Fired In Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. - 4 suspects are in custody after reports of shots fired in Salisbury.

On Tuesday afternoon officers responded to the area of Catherine St. and W. Main St. after reports of shots fired.  An investigation revealed that an unknown black male fired a handgun in the area and fled on foot.  Officers in the area noticed a black vehicle leaving the scene. The vehicle description was broadcast to other officers who conducted a traffic stop in the area of Camden Ave. and Wicomico St.

During the traffic stop the officers located a handgun and ammunition from inside the car. 27-year-old Willis Ginn of Delmar, 22-year-old Tiras Dupont of Salisbury, 22-year-old Jermaine Dupone of Salisbury, and a 17-year-old were arrested and booked on multiple charges.

No one was injured during the incident.  The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to call Salisbury Police at (410) 548-3165 or Crime Solvers at (410) 548-1776.
