Posted: Updated:

TALBOT Co., Md. - Talbot County is making an effort to get a handle on the growing issue of drug abuse in the area.

The health department and the Talbot Partnership for Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Prevention will hold a town hall meeting from 7 - 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night at the Easton Middle School gymnasium.

Last month, 17-year-old Matthew Mikowski allegedly strangled 18-year-old Samuel Cross after reportedly using LSD in St. Michaels.
