DOVER, Del. - Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in Dover, that happened on Monday afternoon, and looking for a suspect.

Delaware State Police say around 3:10 PM, a green Chevrolet Malibu, drove by a car parked outside a Presidents Drive home, in Capitol Park neighborhood, and shot a 28-year-old man who was inside, before fleeing towards Bay Road. The victim was treated at a local hospital for a gunshot wound to his upper extremities.

An investigation reportedly showed, the house that the car was parked in front of had also been hit, with two adults and two children inside. Police say they were not injured during the shooting.

Detectives believe 22-year-old Dazzel King, of Frederica, was driving the Malibu, and fired the shots. Police say they found the vehicle abandoned, at a home outside of Camden, on Willow Grove Road.

Anyone with information on King's whereabouts is asked to contact Det. D. Martin at 302-741-2825 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. Tips can also be submitted to the DSP Mobile Crime App, texting DSP to CRIMES (274637), or by visiting the TipSubmit website.
