SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury woman has been charged with two motor vehicle offenses, after allegedly hitting a car in a parking lot.

Salisbury Police say on July 3rd, a woman, later identified as 58-year-old Ellen Marie Williamson, driving an older red Volkswagen Bug, backed into an unoccupied vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot, and fled, leaving damage behind.

Police received tips about the investigation, and were able to charge Williamson with failure to furnish written identification information on unattended damage vehicle, and failure to locate and notify owner of unattended vehicle of damage. She must appear before the court when notified.
