MAGNOLIA, Del. - Two Magnolia residents are facing charges, after they allegedly damaged homes in a neighborhood. Delaware State Police say they arrived on Sunny Meadow Drive, just before 5:00 AM, on Friday, after receiving a call about two males trespassing. They reportedly saw the two, and tried to talk to them, but the two apparently fled.

An investigation showed that the two males, 20-year-old Philip Johnson-Bevins, and a 17-year-old, had drank some beer, and then walked through the Woodfield neighborhood, and took property from various yards. Police say the two then put all the stolen property onto one lawn, on Glenn Forest Drive. While there, according to the report, the suspects took a hose from the house, put it into the victim's gas tank, and then turned on the water. Police allege that the males were making some kind of incendiary device, but were interrupted when Troopers arrived.

Johnson-Bevins and the 17-year-old were charged with 2nd degree attempted reckless endangering, 3 counts of theft under $1,500, 3rd degree conspiracy, underage consumption of alcohol, and 9 counts of 3rd degree criminal trespass. Both were released on bond, and ordered to have no unlawful contact within the neighborhood of Woodfield.
