Delaware Cracks Down On Impaired Driving With Checkpoints

FENWICK IS., Del. - Delaware State Police are on the lookout for drunk drivers Saturday, near one of our local beaches.

The Office of Highway Safety set up a DUI checkpoint near Fenwick Island, as a part of the Checkpoint Strikeforce campaign, which aims to crackdown on impaired driving.

According to OHS, more than 5,400 people were arrested for DUIs in Delaware in 2012.
