DE State Police Searching For Wanted Prescription Fraud Suspect

NEWARK, Del. - Delaware State Police say they are asking for the public's help in location a suspect wanted in connection with a series of forged  prescriptions for Oxycodone, that occurred in pharmacies within New Castle County.

According to reports, troopers are searching for Yvette Shupe, 42, with a last known address of the 400 block of West Newport Pike, in Wilmington. Shupe is wanted in connection with an ongoing prescription fraud investigation, and is believed to be staying in motels in New Castle County, Delaware and Cecil County, Maryland. She is described as a white female, about 5 feet, 3 inches tall, and 130 pounds. If anyone has any information or knows the whereabouts of Shupe they are asked to call 911, or to contact Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
